ENERGY SOUL PROJECT

About Me

Energy Soul is an association between two people from Lamia in Greece, George Athanasiadis and Thanasis Kourdis, that have the same taste and interest in music. They started this project at the earlies of 2003 when they met each other on the radio station of their town called HIT FM. George Athanasiadis started djing in 1997 at the early age of 14 years old playing house music at the parties of his friends. Until then he was listening to different kind of music like disco, funk, big beat and hip hop but house music was the only one that really affected him. In 2000 he began his own radio show known today as "Energy Soul Sessions" on HIT FM radio. The style of his music is soulful, deep 'n' jazzy with some afro-tribal grooves. His colloboration with HIT FM gave him the opportunity to play his music in various clubs in Lamia like Paradissio, Bojo, Venezia and many more. After that, with the important help of Thanasis Kourdis they started their own "Energy Soul Parties" providing quality house music in clubs all over in Greece. They have played alongside many famous djs of their country and also from the global scene. Today, Energy Soul continue their work with a new colloboration with Motion.FM having their own mixshow.a
