Spiros Voidis - the man behind Inspiro - started Djing in the early 80s in his native city of Athens, Greece playing dance tracks at high school parties.Inspiro's professional Dj career kicked off at the age of 16 at a club called ''Winstones''. At that time, he was using 4 turntables and mixing classic disco, funk, freestyle and electro grooves.His next major residency was as Dj Spencer at ''Profile'', a hip Athens club in the late 80's. His multi-textured sound and unique mixing style always drew a crowd and the place was packed, even on weeknights.In 1993, Inspiro moved to Toronto, Canada to study music production and sound engineering at the Trebas Institute of Recording Arts and Sciences. He successfully completed his studies and received his diploma from the legendary producer Phil Spector.While in Toronto, he collaborated with several canadian Djs and artists performing at Limelight, Cremlin, Zoo and RPM. Inspiro's Dj sessions for'' inhouse zone'' and warehouse parties are memorable. He also worked at Cherry Beach Sound, 306, Headroom and Phaze 1 studios (workshop).In 1995, Inspiro returned to Athens, joining Sierra studios and then Music Factory studios where he was involved in several projects as both engineer and remixer. In 2000 he partnered with Musicon studios.Inspiro continued Djing, holding the residency in several clubs and bars, and appearing as guest Dj at fashion events for leading designers Valentino, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren and Kathy Heyndels. From 1998 till 2002 he is spinning at the ultimate ''Hall of Fame'' Jackson Hall club (Athens Kolonaki). From 2003 till August 2004 he plays at the new Jackson Hall club in Glyfada. He spent all summer doing many guestings all over Greece and his big success as a producer but also as a dj brought him a collaboration with Athens 2004 where he spinned at the Olympics sponsor V.I.P. center during the Olympics, including it's closing party, finalizing at the Athens Waterplaza, spinning for 5.000 people audience (Hosted by Village Radio,Televised by MAD TV). Inspiro's Dj flair, consist of an uplfting house related feeling, and an eclectic taste, which involved free jazz funk, latin jazz "soundtracks", and a huge amount of a harmonic Disco - Funk masterpieces, blend in different proportions. This style, happens to impact on the crowd, and that's why Inspiro's technique is always unique and incomparable.
Thoughts of you :In August 2003, Inspiro signed on with Power Play Music. In November he released his first single, ''Thoughts of you'' in ''Dance Domination 4'' compilation. The uplifting and melodic track is receiving widespread critical acclaim and is becoming a hit on greek radio and in clubs throughout Greece.In January 2004 he released the cd single of "Thoughts of you'' with all the mixes, including ''inspired club mix'' which is the most requested mix.''Thoughts of you'' become a top 5 song,in several dance music charts.It reached the number one spot in major radio stations across Europe.Inspiro would like to thank Konstantinos (the ultimate''piano'' hands) for his contribution to Thoughts of you.
Magic Nature :In August 2004, Inspiro released his new song ''Magic Nature'' in the ''Dance Domination 2004''compilation (PowerPlay - Polydor).The song made it into the Top 5 (including 1st position) of all major radio stations in Greece and climbed to No12 on the official singles sales chart (major success thinking that this chart also contains all artists singles releases ). He also made it into the Top 5 airplay chart of Music Control which measures the airplay of 24 major radios in Greece (also including Greek artists with folk music), as well into Ministry of Sound Annual Greece 2005.The cd single was released in October 2004,including three mixes.Even now ''Magic Nature'' is attracting the audience and it's a top-5 dance hit all over Greece. In '' Magic Nature'' Inspiro is experimenting, by playing all instruments!
Lover to Lover :In December 2005, Inspiro released his newer uplifting track ''Lover to Lover'' on NRG records/Universal following the hit sequence of his previous productions.
In May 2006 he joins ‘ In the mix’ Radio Sessions, mixing and producing D.J. sets every weekend for 30 major Radio stations.In October 2006, he also invited from Ermis Awards 2006, at Olympic Complex Stadium (Faliron), as the official Ermis Awards 2006 guest D.J., for two days, spinning in front of many thousands of people.In June 2007 Inspiro signs with Warner Music for his forthcoming World Wide Release Single "A Brighter Day" - The 1st single taken from the Inspiro upcoming 2007 debute album!
