I guess it's time to be serious and write a line or two about myself.
I'm TwiggX, a regular girl with naturally red hair and green eyes, I've got pale skin and freckles, when the sun shines in summer I don't get tanned, I get red as a cooked lobster. That's what you get for being pale.
I live together with my mother and my tortoise Idde. We're one loving family. Idde's the man in the house nowadays. My father unfortunately passed away when i was 9 years old during his vacation in Thailand. I do love him with all of my heart and I know he's still around watching over me. My mother works as Senior Information Officer for the police in our county, and my father coached the swedish national team in badminton before he died.
I've got a half brother and half sister on my father's side. My sister just made me aunt with her and Dave's (her boyfriend) baby girl Holly. Dave's from Australia, he's a great guy. My sis, my niece and dave are moving back to Australia very soon so I'm hoping to visit them later on. My brother's what you would call a globetrotter, he's travelling around the world for years straight. Lately he was enjoying life in Asia and Australia. He's also a big fan of Bali. I'm also very very interested in travelling and different cultures. My boyfriend Alexander and I are going to London this summer, not that far or exotic, but great shopping ;)
I myself study Media at high school which i find absolutely thrilling! I study photogrpahy, graphic design, 3D modeling, webdesign and film making along with other basic subjects. I'm also a reporter for the youth department at out local newpaper.
I'm also very interested in language. I speak Swedish, English and German fluent. other languages I'm interested in are, among others, Japanese and Polish. It has always been of great interest to me how languages come up and where words origin from. I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to that. I'm like a sponge sucking up all knowledge I can take in whenever I hear something regarding language.
Another huge interest I have is biology, ecology and herpetology. I care for the planet and the anvironment with all my heart and I do whatever I can to support caring organizations. Keep the climate cool folks, and use Ecoogler to help plant some trees while you're looking for information on the web.
Then I'm also bit of a computer freak. I play Lineage2 (no I hate wow, don't ask) and I'm quite obsessed with Unreal Tournament2k4 (no I hate CS, don't ask). Yup, I'm a gaming girl and I've got a weak spot for geek language and everything regarding Super mario, he's my hero! I'm also a BIG BIG fan of the anime One Piece!
From one thing to another, something quite interesting is that I'm the 17th generation of Sweden's first king Gustav Vasa. We've got lots of royal ancestors from the medieval age which i find absolutely awsome since I'm quite interested in that part of our history. I'm also very intersted in vikings, norse mythology and the jura epoch, dinosaurs are thrilling aren't they? Oh, and I do believe in Darwin's theory. I'm an atheist. I don't deny religion, I just don't believe in it, but it's fascinating. Well anyways.
I think highly of myself, I know I'm very talented in many aspects. I can be timid as well as outgoing. I'm very open minded and easy going, I'm humble towards others and I always show respect to those I think deserve it. I'm a good friend to rely on. I've got a big cup of self distance and I love irony and sarcasm. I'm quite addicting and I've got a good sense of humor. I believe you can't be happy and safe inside yourself until you've got to know who you really are. Take lots of time for yourself and let yourself grow. I believe the no. 1 rule in having a harmonic life is to find yourself and dare to believe in yourself.
And lastly, what my myspace is all about, my modeling. Yes, I'm an alternative model. I'm an official model for the alternative clothing Company Odium Clothing since 2005 and I'm part of the Nocturnal Models Agency . As you might have noticed I'm very interested in alternative style, shoes, clothes, hair, make-up, accessoaries, you name it. Modeling is a fancy hobby to me and I love affecting others with my work. I do Runway, Goth, Cybergoth, Punk, Glamrock, Casual, Cosplay and I'm open for any creative photoshoot. I never do nude or topless. I'd like to end my presentation with saying this to all of you out there:
I've received A LOT of questions about how to become an alternative model, to all that I want to give a cliché as answer: believe in yourself. It might sound corny, but that actually is what takes you to your goals. And many of you are asking yourselves if you're too ugly to become alternative models, not having the perfect nose or the prettiest jaw. But think about it, alternative style isn't about being ideal, is it? Having personal features is a plus. Go achieve your goals boys and girls!
