About Me

MyGen Profile Generator
R.I.P. OZZY my ratty
The last of my two pet ratties, OZZY, was sadly put to sleep on Thursday 13th March after having had struggles with his breathing over the last couple of days and feeling weak, lifeless and ill. He had been x-rayed at the vets but there were no signs of tumours. He was taken into a specialist hospital overnight and given oxygen and medication but hadn't improved any by today so the decision was taken to relieve his pain and let him sleep. He was such an adorable, attentive and friendly companion - much like a small dog, responding to his name, eager to play with you and enjoying cuddles & attention. His albino ratty brother LEMMY passed away due to a tumour last August but OZZY lived on contently and almost reached his 3rd birthday. I'll miss him and his unbelievable cuteness. Here is a slideshow of my favourite photos of OZZY & LEMMY.

Howdy, this here profile is my personal myspace for friends, family and people I actually want to hear from and keep in touch with.
While I'm all up for using Myspace for networking and promotions, I'm keeping this one solely for those close to me - so I can actually find & read their bulletins when they post one or view their updates instead of trawling through millions of unknowns & strangers punting their wares in my inbox and comments page.
So....if you want to add me because we know each other in real life, hit the add request button! However....if you want to randomly add me just to up your friends numbers then feel free to visit and add these profiles below - the bands, the label and the solo music profile - everyone welcome!
I’m the singer and guitarist in ATTICA RAGE - check out our choons and stuff at www.myspace.com/atticarage . We’re completing our debut album 'RUIN NATION' and it’s gonna be a belter! Famed Motorhead artist Joe Petagno has designed our new logos and album cover artwork so get yer ass over there, check them out, add us as a friend, post a comment etc. Pure hard rock riffs and metal grooves influenced by the masters!
I've set up an independent record label - VANDUARA RECORDS to release the new album and future Attica recordings (and maybe my own solo stuff at some point). Check out the myspace page at www.myspace.com/vanduararecords for press cuttings, logos and other Attica & label info.
I write other songs aside from the heavier stuff for Attica - mostly acoustic and some instrumentals. Also got a massive selection of cover songs and I'm available to hire for 12string acoustic sets for pubs, parties, that kind of thing. Check out all this other music stuff I'm up to at my other profile www.myspace.com/jonnyparr2008
And for a bit of fun on the side, I'm singer & guitarist in WILDEBEEST: a rock, punk & metal covers band from Dalry. We've got some more gigs coming up soon in Ayrshire so get along! Check out www.myspace.com/w1ldebeest

Music is such a massive part of my life and I love so many different styles. Rock, pop, classical, punk, metal, opera, folk, blues, 50s RnB, jazz, soul, industrial, funk, rock n roll, country, celtic, goth, thrash, grunge, ….the list goes on. The only stuff that really doesn’t do it for me is bland indie-pap, manufactured pop-tarts, that happy-hardcore dance crap, modern RnB (the original ‘rhythm n' blues’ it aint!) and most nu-metal or metalcore / shouty, growly vocal types… just not my thing. But although I love (mostly) all forms of music, I’m a born ‘n bred metal-head. Raised on classic rock, heavy metal and thrash during the 80s & 90s, from the age of 4, by my older brother – and Attica drummer – Richie. So….he’s to blame!!!!….but I thank him for it really as it has been the biggest influence in my life. The metal community has been where I feel at home since the age of 4 and it will never change.
When I'm not working on Attica or Vanduara business or doing my own music, my chill-out time is spent watching movies mostly - hardly any TV since I only got the 4 channels where I'm staying but plenty programs on YouTube & Channel 4 OD to keep me happy and my DVD collection is gettin pretty hefty now!
So that's the "About Me" section filled in. Message me or comment me if you wanna know anything else, ya nosey parker! And since you’re here, do me a favour and go add the Attica, Vanduara and my other myspace as friends – Myspace is the word’s largest popularity contest, didn’t you know?
