23-year old Israeli Drummer Meytal Cohen is a hard-hitting double bass virtuoso. Her latest performances in the United States have included a show for the PGA in South Carolina, where she was featured on National Television. Meytal recently got back from a 21-city tour of Australia with the rock/ metal/classical fusion band "Metaphor." In addition to performing in the country's most prestigious arts centers and theaters, she also performed live on several national television programs including "The Kerrianne Kennerly Show." Meytal was recently featured in the Entertainment Edition of Nationwide newspaper "The Daily Telegraph." Meytal was professionally trained in drums and percussion by world-class musicians. Her teachers included Joe Porcaro , Ralph Humphrey , Michael Shapiro, Aaron Zerfaty, and Jerry Steinholtz. Her fluency in the genres of Rock, Funk, Jazz, and Afro-Cuban contribute to her unique style of Metal, which is her specialty.
