He is a descendent of one Italian noble family. His vocational training in Italy has been a long apprenticeship. After his first journey in America he revitalizes pop-art and find the way to become famous. He wrote these notes: “America is the new world. The new world that, about one century ago, Antonin Dvoràk, Czech musician, well expressed in his ninth symphony, absolute masterpiece, one important page of Post-Romantic age. In past times the new world was a safe and hospitable place for those who sought freedom of political thought and religion . It was also the country of new opportunity for many emigrants that arrived by the sea to look for a job. To day the new world is an ideal place for those who follow artistic works or are interested in present-day arts. It is fertile land where are born arts evolve and are reference points for all the world. In every century there is one predominating art that prevails over all others. Without doubt the primary art of the twentieth and the beginning twenty-first century is the great American Cinema. The others arts, the music, the fashion, the figurative and plastic arts, and advertising art, revolve round the cinema. In America interest in the arts is a fact of recent time. As like John Walker, the National Gallery of Washington ex manager, wrote, “America was short, at is were, of the past time wheel where to grind the present-day results“. This new position, of great attention about the arts, of passion for the artistic production, makes the difference between the America and other states of the world. In past time the Europe was the forge of the arts, now it’s no longer! To day the Europe is only a rich museum of great value; the European schools are proper to past time. In the post-war period, around 1950, Pop-Art started in England and then expanded in America where the consumers’ society promoted its development. The American Pop Art was a extraordinary innovation. Andy Warhol, Jaspers Johns , Robert Rauschenberg, Tom Wesselmann, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist, were the leaders in the American Pop-Art movement. Later Peter Max and Keith Haring, went on. After the untimely death of Haring, Romero Britto, a young Brazilian artist carried the movement forward with his outstanding work. The work of this artist includes magic and amusing figures painted with luminous intensity. Pop-Art used images and objects derived from advertising, publicity and other. Britto’s works are used in publicity and fashion and his signature has became a trade name. I would like to suggest NEW POP-ART as the name for this new trend in art. After 35 years of working as classic artist I have matured to New Pop-Art. In my painting I have suppressed the conventional lights and shades, the shadings, the traditional rules of prospective, the general rules of composition. I have revitalized the Pop-culture by revisiting the Pop-Art. I have started to decompose my construction, to section by diagshat, longitudinal, and cross lines, giving origin to plane figures where objects, animals and characters are executed with sharp outlines and the contrast between colours. The leitmotiv of all my work is the love. An ideal world directed by love, joy and enthusiasm. My work wants to be a positive, a joyful work, exalting the values of life and provoking positive feelings. It’s conceived as the pleasure of soul. Flowers, hearts, cats, dogs, birds, women, men, children, are painted with variety of colours; the triumph of colour. These are free paintings, pleasantly made with no limits to fantasy, creativity, or lively imagination which ranges widely over all the work. My painting desires also to be dream world for people young and old. The first time I have showed my New Pop-Art works in Italy was in Tuscany, at Capalbio. This my recent art exhibition was a great success. I got favorable and sincere compliments from the public. But the true encouragement came from little children. Often, in front my pictures they said: “Beautiful! Very beautiful!”. This is very important event because I work principally for them, for the rising generation. I believe to work for the future life, for who have to come into the world. It was a child who said: “ The king has no clothes”. The comments of the children convince me that I’m on the right path to leave a legacy not of darkness misery and hate but a legacy of light, love and happiness.”
