Circadian Rising (On Tour June 20th)

About Me

Since March 2007, Circadian Rising has blended elements of thrash, death, and progressive metal into a style that sets itself apart from many of the other upcoming bands. Jeff Kasmala (guitars and vocals) plays intricate, lightning-fast rhythms and delivers a gritty vocal style similar to John Tardy and Chuck Schuldiner, two vocalists who helped pioneer extreme metal. Brandon Ruggiero (guitar) provides the fast, yet melodic guitar solos with a virtuosic style. Chuck King (drums) delivers intense performances influenced by Gene Hoglan and Dave Lombardo. The newest addition to the band, Dan Breuninger (bass), has been influenced greatly by Steve DiGiorgio and Steve Harris. He will have a strong presence live as well as on recordings. Circadian Rising is currently signed with Turkey Vulture Records, and is scheduled to record its first album in August 2009. A supporting tour for the album is in the works.
