BANDS INQUIRING TO BOOK SHOWS---PLEASE READ THIS FIRST !!!!!
For bands interested in playing at ATLANTA'S PREMIER LIVE MUSIC VENUE, here's what you need to do...
Send us your PHYSICAL MEDIA KITS (CDs, photos, bio, press, logos, etc). We try to review all recently received material each week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please be reminded that your kits will act as First Impression Ambassadors from your band to us here at The Darkside. A well-assembled and recently current media kit submitted with all the essential content will go a long way when determining who we take dates with. The Darkside supports and highly recommends bands to come prepared with all the aspects of a true working band. Sampler CDs and Promotional Materials sent to us for targeting pre-show distribution and awareness, Full Merchandising, Mass E-mailings and Show Updates, Sponsor Support and Media Involvement, Radio Spots and Interviews, Street Team Event Network Targeting and any additional Printed Media etc...
If you don't hear back from us within approximately 10 business days of the date you submitted your materials, you can follow up by calling the venue and leaving a message. (404-468-2666) PLEASE SPEAK SLOWLY AND CLEARLY REMEMBERING TO LEAVE YOUR NAME AND CONTACT NUMBER TWICE AT THE END OF THE MESSAGE. We will try to work with you at that point to get you booked on a show.
Due to the high volume of bands currently trying to book shows at The Darkside, we will not accept MySpace.com accounts as promos to determine where you might fit in. This is simply because we get 20+ kits a week they all start to run together after awhile. In other words, we must have your PHYSICAL MEDIA KIT before you will be considered for a show.
EPK's will be accepted ONLY in addition to Physical Kits. Or if last minute scheduling has occured and is needed for promotions and print.

We gladly spin movies, promotional DVD's with your web address and slideshows during your set through our 17 TV's and 2 Large Screen Projectors. Please advance the venue before hand if you have any formating questions. This is a great way to promote while you play the set. Please be respectful in NOT promoting other venues or shows during your time with us. Thank You
