In an era where music seems to have become stagnant and bland and many
groups are indistinguishable from the next, Down From Zero is breaking the
mold. Down From Zero's intense grooves and musical ability are sure to bring
a new dawn, a new sound ... a new revolution.
Listeners from Melbourne, Fl. to Detroit, Mi. have been pulled into their
infectious sound, been chewed up, spit out and left wanting even more.
The Middle Georgia trio has spent many years rounding out their sound and
putting everything they have into their music.
Their music is a secret recipe taken from various influences. Take a pinch
of Motley Crue, a dash of Guns and Roses, an ounce of Three Day's Grace, a
tsp. of Puddle of Mudd, a squirt of Motorhead, a handful of Metallica, a
pound of Joe Satriani, mix in a giant helping of musicianship, a cup of
talent and showmanship, blend together, cook at 1000 degrees and serve red
hot to a room full of music lovers.
Down From Zero's songs, like Hail to the King, Chaos Theory, Broken, Livin'
The High Life, Dreams of Madness, Same Old Story and more will pull
listeners into a realm known only as Rock-N-Roll. Where they will be
engulfed in a blanket of raw unfiltered, unforgiving rock and roll. Taken to
a place where nothing but the music matters, where no outside pressures of
society will be felt and where they will not be judged and can completely be
themselves.
Also, the group's song, "Real American Heroes," is a shout out to all the
men and women on the armed forces who risk their lives every day. DFZ
doesn't express any political views of the war in "Real American Heroes." It
is just written in support of the armed forces.
The titanic trio is made up of Frontman and Lead Guitarist, Jason Scott,
a.k.a. Fingers, who will fascinate audience members by ripping his guitar to
shreds, playing with his teeth and behind his head ... oh yeah, he sings
too.
Drummer, Brian Doggins, a.k.a. B-Dawg, a monster with sticks, destroys the
drums while delivering ferocious beats.
Bassist and backup vocalist, Jonathon Paul, a.k.a. Ballz, brings down the
thunder as he carries the flow of the songs.
Down From Zero is like a Phoenix rising from the ashes to spread the word of
a new Rock and Roll Revolution.
If you haven't heard of Down From Zero yet, you don't know what you're
missing ......
