SNORE

snOre was formed on a sunday afternoon the day was hot and the energy was high and I think we were also to some degree. Erik entered into this unnamed project and within the first 20 minutes of the jam, a song that is now known as "Geronimo" was born. From here we worked out some kinks and added some high energy percussion in the form of Shad our all hot dog no bun on the skins. A three piece was born and from here we really had no direction we just played what came to us with no concern of following any specific style. The songs determine what they will be categorized as and we will be submissive to the song allowing them to determine the length and the tones and the pedal noise every aspect is determined by the organic formation. You may ask why the name snOre? Well it's very simple, our band name is just like our song titles we like the word therefore we use it. You see there is no point or purpose, it is a release from the mundane. It creates excitment in our lives and finally it's ours and no one can take it and in these days it's nice to know that we can create and always have it. We have completed more than we ever imagined in the first year of our existence and going into our second year as a band we have a lot of new material already recorded and to be recorded.
