I'm happily married now for over 20 years. We have no children but plenty of fuzzy kids. You can see some of their pictures here.I love meeting interesting people with personality. I grew up in the midwest and met my husband on vacation while in Daytona for the Firecracker 400. That means I now live in the south since that's where he was from. We love traveling although we haven't done much of it lately. We've been to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Cancun, The Bahamas, The Dominican Republic, The Caymans, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Grenada, The Vigin Islands, Cozumel, Guadaloupe and if there was somewhere else I can't remember. You probably guessed we saw all of these places because we cruised the caribbean several times. We used to camp and boat but my husband is on the road with his work now so we don't get the opportunity to do these things any more. I'm sure I'll have more to add later. I like most kinds of music. I least like old time country and jazz. I like contemporary Christian, rock, new country, blues, and classical.
Some of my favorite groups are Nickelback,Peter Gabriel, Led Zeppelin, Guns and Roses, Bon Jovi,and Queen. I also love any kind of dance music.
I love a good suspense movie like the books I read I also enjoy chic flicks and when I get a chance I like some dramatic films like those based on the classics. Someone just recently reminded me of Fiddler On the Roof...it so reminds me of my father who was Greek.
My most loved all time movie is Medicine Man with Sean Connery. He's my all time heart throb :-)
I also loved The Breakfast Club, Pretty Woman & Ghost.
Richard Gere is also a hottie.
An addiction I really need to get a grip on. I've been hooked on reality tv American Idol, The Bachelor, Rock Star, Dancing with the Stars, So you Think You Can Dance, The Next Food Network Star and Big Brother.I also am a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Men In Trees & Jericho. The soaps I keep up with are Y&R , B&B & DOOL.
I love my bible studies. Our women's group has been doing Beth Moore studies this year and they have been such a blessing to me. I also love to read a good mystery or suspense thriller from time to time.
Number one is Jesus my Savior.
My Mom and Dad. Firstly I miss my Dad terribly. He sustained fatal injuries after getting hit head on while evacuating hurricane Katrina. Mom was more fortunate although hurt badly also. Mom and I have in the past not seen eye to eye but we've bonded during this experience and I admire her strength. I believe I got the best of both Mom and Dad. I love you.
