About Me

9voltRevolt is dead. Long Live 9voltRevolt!

After an amazing 5 year run, 9voltRevolt is no longer playing live. However, they are not playing dead either... Mostly they're playing golf.

If you like 80's influenced Rock Oriented Techno Industrial - give them a listen.

While we convince them top update this a little more - be sure to go check out Lead Singer/Songwriter Stephen's revived solo project MINDinc !

and check back here for more info soon.

Influences:

From Silencer Records Webzine Reinlok
Acidplanet artist 'Spidera' and well-known artist 'Tokyo3' (also known as MINDinc) pulled together for the Industrial/Techno presence, 9voltRevolt. Not only is the 9voltRevolt catchy for the genre, but the combination of these two talented artists being placed in a musical blender, and adding a bit of flavor formed a great marriage of intense lyrics and amazingly intoxicating industrial sounds.

Intense drums, and dramatic synth lines starts the aggressive yet danceable track "Swallow Me" Angry vocals, that are places perfectly though each guitar strum, and a bass line with so much power that only the right vocals could be carried to the listener's ear with out being lost. Each poetic word sung is easily understood through each breath and pronunciation, leaving me to dig deeper into the story they tell. When listening to the story through 9voltRevolt's lyrics, emotions, and music I want to take a side and feel his loss in the engulf of something unknown to my mind. "Swallow me, take my identity, Swallow me, take my personality", are the lyrics that stand out perfectly, and are stamped with intense emotion on my mind.

When it comes to energy and overall musical appeal this band's charisma is way off the charts
