Worked wrote w/Gillian Canning which eventually culminated in a CD recorded with MikeWEst in New Orleans 9th Ward Under the name Sweet Potato and Gillian called it Best oF1997-99 It was rushed 4or 5 hrs fantasy was to gather different folks for different tunes ??Still trying. play to the lake and ducks, my animals and plants, the open mic and on friends sofas and porches and firepits... Thats fun the work of it?trying to record a volume of songs with varied accompanists...Starting with scratch

Influences: Family, born influenced, Mothers voice, I was exposed to alot, a very wide range of music. She has the best voice I ever heard to this day, Grandfather (taught me to play guitar) excellent singer, played banjo and bass in a JaZZ band and great Granfather played fiddle and storytold with music fOlK Old Tymey church Music, The intent of songs. Jazz, Birds, Singing, Radio, PBS, BBC, Trains, Shoes walking, things falling on the ground. Bands from my Hometown, a lot of others...right now varied from friends on porches to most of what I never hear on commercial radio.and the moon... CURRENT MOON moon phase:
