Back in our middle school years, Christian, Mike, and I (Sonny) were classmates. A lot of what I remember from my 8th grade year had to do with math class with Christian. We had a fantastic math teacher named Mrs. Brady. This class was so small, relaxed, and fun that we even called Mrs. Brady, "Ms. Brad". Things really changed when I got Weezer's Blue Album, my first Weezer CD. Christian was also a fan of Weezer, so for the rest of the year we would sing Weezer songs in math class. Ms. Brad and our classmates thought we were weird at first, but everyone got used it. It must’ve been all the singing and humor that helped us breeze through math class. We felt so ahead in the curriculum that we eventually dubbed our class as “The Math Wizardsâ€. After I graduated, Christian and I parted to different high schools and didn't see each other often, except for the occasional jam session. It was during one of these sessions that I threw the idea in the air of forming a band. I had always wanted to form a band with Christian and see how our musical genius’s would sound. I think the results came out pretty well. This is where Mike came in to rock the drum set. Our name was eventually changed to The Secret Service once it became apparent that "The Math Wizards" was not a name favored by our growing fan base. This Myspace stands not as a memory to The Secret Service’s old band name, but to the fun memories of my 2006 math class and the lasting effect of simply singing awesome songs with one of my good friends. We would like to thank everyone for your support!!!
