Nora Thiele is one of the youngest and most innovativ percussionists. She spent her childhood and youth in Leipzig (Germany) where she studied percussion, drums and piano at the Academy for Music and Theatre “Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Leipzig”.She currently works as a free-lancer in the field of World, Contemporary and Ancient Music since successfully completing her exam in 2005. She performs as a soloist and with her ensemble “The Playfords” and with Oudplayer Saef Alkeat. She has performed with "SWR Radio Symphonie Orchester", “Weser Renaissance Bremen”, Haendels Company”, the “Ensemble Avantgarde” and others.She has toured music festivals in Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Slovenia and the Republic of China ("Donaueschinger Musiktage", "T.F.F. Rudolstadt", "WOMEX", "Tage Alter Musik in Herne", "Jazz Festival Nanjing" and others).
