Junkyard Burlesque

The woods are full of wardens. --Jack K.

About Me

Junkyard Burlesque includes Patrick Grizzell, vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin, harmonica; Brady McKay, vocals, piano, percussion, guitar; Steve Bird, upright bass and piano. It's a somewhat eclectic project, with elements of blues, jazz, folk and a taste of cabaret.
Junkyard Burlesque is usually a trio. Sometimes we add a pianist, a drummer and a horn or two. The band performs originals written by Patrick or Brady or both. Patrick and Steve are collaborating on a couple too.
Occasionally we throw in an old tune by some great jazz or blues writer, and once in a while a tune by a more contemporary favorite of ours.
We'll be posting some new tunes from our CD-in-progress shortly.
