Born in 1965, raised in Utah, Oregon, Washington and Connecticut, educated at Cornish Institute of the Arts in Seattle and Parsons School of Design in New York City graduating with a Bachelors in Fine Art, traveled to India, Europe, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii and most states of the Mainland US, lived in Seattle, San Francisco, New York, Pennsylvania, Nantucket, Key West, Arizona, Maui, Big Island, Molokai, Kauai and Oahu HI, performed her original music since the early 1990s across the country, produced a CD of original songs on her own label, exhibited dozens of one-woman and group shows of her multi-media artwork leaving almost no media unexplored, taught numerous classes and workshops, produced dozens of happenings, benefit concerts and festivals like the annual Wahine Fest and Hanapepe Folk Festivals, created her own curriculum called 'Multi-Media Mania with Millicent', founded her own gallery, (Gallery M), composed over 400 songs and hundreds of poems, hosted her own radio program, acted in short films and improv comedy troops, taken thousands of photographs and has embarked on countless pilgramages all expressing the timeless quest for the Divine, for Self, for Sovereignty, for Home, for Love...through every possible media, asserting that the arts are indeed a vital link to both individual and collective well-being. Millicents work is intended to inspire the remembrance of human dignity and divinity, of creative aspiration and celebration and all possible forms of Love.
