Crystal LaJuene has been described by many as what hip hop’s been missing. The true definition of an artist, her work is of high standard. Crystal La’Juene has been writing, singing, and performing since the tender age of 10, and with the god given gift to touch the crowd, she was destined for success. She loved Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, and Frankie Beverly & Maze, just to name a few. As she got a little older, she wanted to be just like her big cousin, who was a huge fan of hip hop and an excellent writer. She was fascinated by the way she put her words together, which was the start of something big. Crystal wrote her first rap at age 12. Crystal La’Juene grew up in the ghetto on the south side of Chicago and later in life the south suburbs. With two, hard working parents, Crystal seen at a young age that nothing comes easy, you must strive to achieve your goals. Ambitious and determined to be heard, after years of writing and spitting rhymes to her peers, she was motivated to start recording. With her confident, yet humble attitude she has been able to reach high heights in a very short period of time. She writes, she sings, and she is an excellent lyricist. Her music has soul and substance able to reach all types of people and all age ranges, definitely an ingredient the game has been missing....
