About Me

A splinter group of Las Vegas faves The Bargain DJ Collective , the Beauty School Dropout DJs are four cool chicks spinning punk, rock, garage and funky underground music from the '60s and beyond. We hosted Hot Wax Wednesdays at the Beauty Bar Las Vegas from May to September 2005, and have also performed at venues are varied as Celebrity Showroom, The Bunkhouse, Double Down Saloon, The Box Office/First Friday, Art Bar, Matteo's Underground, DIVEBAR and the Hard Rock Hotel's Simon Restaurant with the likes of Morricone Youth, Vagenius, Skorchamenza, Eddy Joe Cotton & The Yard Dogs Traveling Road Show, The Blakes, Geisha Girls, The Chimeneas, Uberschall, The Pandas, Black Camaro, The Black Jetts, Sparkler Dims, Big Friendly Corporation, The Dirty Panties, Suite 666, The Clydesdale, Jaz And The Notes, Bare Knuckle and The Pervz.

We are the girls that dare to overprocess, cut and style! We wear too much make-up and go to bed without washing our faces! The rejects that cut our hair in art class, used black Sharpies to color our nails & kool aid to dye our hair back in the day when it wasn't so cool to be "punk".
We are the girls that still spin vinyl (yeah, records fool!) and who like our music heavy, rocking, underplayed (think Brian Eno not Britney Spears) and LOUD!
We like to mix the avante garage of the 60's, 70's OG punk, the supersynth stylings and heavy metal mayhem of the 80's, half baked with some grunge from the 90's served up hot with a healhy dose of punk rock's next wave.
