Movies:

sci-fi/fantasy: can't get enough star wars/star trek; 50's sci-fi: the thing, them, forbiden planet; been watching a lot of crazy korean and japanese movies lately ... shinya tsukamoto is fuckin off the hook, it's like dali and david lynch had a baby; i like crazy dada surreal stuff like: tetsuo: the iron man, et al, eraser head, the androgenous dog, forbidden zone; i love classics: the music man, guess who's coming to dinner, to kill a mocking bird,the wizard of oz; i like classic film noir, dashill hammet/raymond chandler style; lately i can't get enough godzilla (thanks wz3d) the mellenium series rocks/a

Television:

i rarely watch tv but when i do i like late night talk shows ... letterman, conan, kimmel; sports finals; the news; PBS ... washington week in review, NOVA, frontline, NOW, and uh, antiques roadshow sometimes

Books:

on my nightstand "eight mindful steps to happiness" and "what the buddha taught" ... on the back of my toilet a reader's digest fix it yourself book, and some back issues of maxim magazine

Heroes:

caring and loving parents, and teachers
