The Rib Tips

The Rib Tips are one of Asheville's favorite musical entertainment groups. Recently they placed second in the Mt. Express best of Western NC reader's poll in the best folk/old time/bluegrass band category. The original music of The Rib Tips is also being featured in the new television commercial for the City of Asheville, which will be unveiled October 18th. The band has been a constant favorite at festivals, music venues, and private functions all over the southeast U.S. The current group has been together for nearly two years, featuring veteran musicians playing unique music on fiddle, washbaord, guitar, and washtub bass.
