I hope you re all enjoying the new song. The main purpose of my page here is to make money for the respective charities you see on the page here. I will be playing more gigs in the coming months just bare with me for a while and keep coming back. thanks for all the support.. All 3 e.p.'s are available on i-tunes, rhapsody and napster all over the world I think! The new e.p. will be free for download for a while .....please take it, tell your friends and get them to buy some songs....please cheers malc.It was a dark winter in Aberdeen, scotland. I was working in residential childcare whilst studying social work. I had written all of these songs and had them recorded on four track. I met nils througha mutual friend and have recorded all of my subsequent music with him.Electrify the seas, Butterfly Bomb and clocks, ghosts and heartbeats. As i said previously a lot of these songs come from the destruction my sisters have done to my family, also my work in childcare, teaching, Ireland, Poland, Working on a Project for orphans of HIV victims in Kenya, My friendships . My most important song is Childsoldier. It is the story of a boy from sierra leone. I read his story over a simple guitar riff then added a simple chorus with some strings by Nils. Its simple I think thats why it works. All proceeds for this month and subsequent months will be going to the UNICEF BURMA CYCLONE APPEAL. I know this all may sound very sad but I am very lucky compared to many others around the world and that is why all proceeds from the sales of my songs will go to them. In Burma especially just now. cheers malc.
