Band Members: The altered photo up there today is by me. I rotate these around. More photos and also art by me, Tim "Shitao" Williams and Frédéric Géhin in pics.
First of all, special thanks to my dear friend Dan Brudno who helps me with everything.
Also special thanks to Joy Harjo (check out her myspace page) who gave to me my first four track recorder on which I did our first e-album, Rose Colored War. Also for her great inspiration, teaching and kindness.
I wrote most the music but sometimes the Erics have written some that I do.
All our music is free. I am not good at selling but would accept a grant. And I am good at song-pushing. I leave in mistakes if the mood feels right. I am not trying to "make it" here like a quadrillion other bands here are. We just have a lot of songs written with a lot of different people and we want to get it out there and not create in a vacuum. We all have a lot to say about the state of things in this world lately. We are scattered around the internet on different sites with free downloads. I am not aiming for the clean perfect sound btw...I already know it is a little raw. peace!
Many Writers are involved and they are all on many different music sites. I will try to rotate them possibly biweekly here.
The songs here for now are cowritten by:
Democracy Alert lyrics by Nancy Pontius inspired by George Bush
Why Bodhisattva's Stare At Walls lyrics by Ashley McNamara
Full of it lyrics by Nancy Pontius (from Eric Dahlman's experimental jazzy ambientish cd "Ripped Echo"--he did the music on this one. Vocals over telephone)
I Don't Know What I Am lyrics by Weallpoo (Rene)
For Jane lyrics by Steven Hoffman
Thank You Freddy lyrics by Debbie

Eric Royer and Eric Dahlman are on the Rose Colored War e-album which is now here on a widget. They are very versatile musicians who play a bit of everything, but Royer is especially known for his one man band and also his banjo playing. But he plays everything. Eric Dahlman is an outstanding trumpet player and composer/arranger who just came out with the cd "Ripped Echo" to be found on Mayo's page here. Also the song I sang on of his can be found on the soundclick widget, Rose Colored War. The song is "Full of It".
I play guitar and sing. I write most the music for Project Bluebird. The Erics are working on adding onto many of the songs here. They are also adding on to The Icarus Project inspired songs.
