.....................................My name is Ariadna Kryazheva, I was born in 1990 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and moved to Rochester, NY in 2004. Music has always been a great part of my life, and it always will be, since it is truly the air I breathe.Violin...At the age of 5 I started violin lessons in the Glazunov School of Music in St.-Petersburg. I participated in orchestra and ensembles, until I moved to the United States. Since 2005 I have been a part of the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Also I participated in various chamber groups, and played gigs for special events such as weddings. Currently I study with a beautiful violinist Liana Koteva, who takes part in Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.Piano...At the age of 7 piano lessons came in the picture, and ever since I enjoy learning both classical and jazz on the instrument.Trumpet...In United States I became much more familiar with jazz music, which permanently filled my heart. Inspired by jazz trumpeter Chris Botti I picked up the trumpet in 2006, and started listening to all the great jazz musicians I could find.Voice...Currently I study voice in the Eastman Community Music School with the wonderful classical teacher Patricia Alexander, and jazz singer Rachelle Fleming.Using jazz tracks for singers I recorded a few songs on my own as an experiment. Hope you'll enjoy them! Thank you for visiting my web-page!Photography by Ariadna KryazhevaSergei Rachmaninoff Recital at Kilbourn Hall, Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY
