I love Jamie
He is rad .
I have been described as the "cool guy with long hair" in my group of guy pals, but really I am quite girly. I just believe that there is a point of balance. I can appreciate Maddox and family guy as much as any guy, but I also love (shhh guilty pleasure) Oprah. I like to feel good. Some of the things that make me feel good are corn on the cob,stand up comedy, cheese, my boyfriend (Jamie), music, good hair days, and cotton candy (not in that order). Things that make me feel not so good are hypocrites, smelly people on the bus, PEOPLE WHO JUDGE OTHER PEOPLE (gah), ladybugs, dentists, clowns, and spiders. I am very passionate about music even though I cannot play a musical instrument... Hehehe I can't sing very well either... along with a love for music of all types come a love of DANCE. I just loooooove dancing. I do it anywhere any way I can. I dance at the mall, in the kitchen, at school, down the street, at the beach... and I have juuust begun Ballet lessons because... well... I have always wanted to be a ballerina... Something else about me? Umm... I love my nose piercing but don't have pierced ears... I am sometimes still afraid of the dark (shhh!)...I am VERY random... and I am black... oh wait... that might be offensive, but I assure you that it is true. Ask anyone who knows me! Hahaha results are conclusive... IIIIII am now rambling. I guess that that is another important thing about me... I ramble. I will put a stop to my "about me" ramblings.... NOW! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Okay... that lasted for many more dots than I anticipated.

My Interests

Interests? I am interested in life. I want to live it to its fullest (cliched I know) I want to laugh and love. Specific interests? Music... The lives of AWESOME people (like Freddy Mercury)... Reading... DANCING... Movies............ Wow these interests sound boring........ Specific to me... what am I interested in? I like making people feel better :) .... I like TURTLES...

I love people watching on the bus... I looove filling out forms... Hockey!! WOO!... I like anything that has to do with anything from my childhood (ie. In real life?.... Dane Cook.... The Canucks.... Oprah.... Christopher Walken.... I can't think of any other interesting famous people at the moment.............. On Myspace?.... EVERYONE!! :) BANDS... Lots of bands... and any cool, random people who know how to have a good time :)...

Music:

I Love music. I don't listen to much "new" stuff, because I don't watch Much or MTV... When I hear something I like I take note. Genres scare the hell out of me. I like a little bit of everything. my playlist is very varied right now.... Of course I have the guilty pleasures (eg. Backstreet Boys... oh god.... memories...) for fun... But I have other stuff too... Right at this moment I am reaaally feeling Avenged Sevenfold, Mad Caddies, Reel Big Fish, Suburban Legends, Queen, Freddy Mercury (solo) and The Eagles... and OF COURSE The Lazy Susans, but I think Jamie should sing more!

Movies:

Movies are great. what can i say? i love them all (I picked a good day to write my profile.. I seem to be in a very loving mood...) Classic Disney movies ROCK MY SOCKS... a GOOD comedy is the BEES KNEES... and anything with a little dark humor is the CAT'S PYJAMAS... Shawshank Redemption is amazing, Mrs. Doubtfire will always make me laugh, and Footloose is a guilty pleasure. I have also been seeing more plays lately... haha im loving it.

Television:

..I don't watch much TV, but when I do... The news (to stay on the up and up) ... House (god I love that man) ... America's Next Top Model (my one hour of "turn the brain off TV" that I know I iwll get each week... It's kind of a nice ritual I have with my roommates ... Girl time... not that I need... to... justify...) ... Anything terribly bad from our childhoods (Boy Meets World, Breaker High, Once Upon A Hamster, Student Bodies, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck...) ... Frasier (Oh my god that man and his brother are soooo neurotic... I love it)... KING OF QUEENS(Doug Hefferman... need I say more?)... Comedy Central....... AND.....

FAMILY GUY :)

Books:

I loooove books! My all time favourite books are "the Power of One" (and its sequel "Tandia") by Bryce Courtenay, and "East of Eden" by none other than Steinbeck. I recently finished "In the Skin of a Lion" (Ondaatje) , "Life of Pi" (Martel), and "The Collected Works of Pablo Neruda". I am currently working on "The Moon is Down" (Steinbeck). I recommend all of the above :) ps Just finished the first two books in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. WHOA guilty pleasure! ( i seem, upon perusal of my profile, to ave a lot of guilty pleasures...)
