Jacked Up booms fresh inspiration into sounds of Nashville’s country rock. Scratching the track with their first tune “But 4 Now†rocks into tomorrow. The combined talents of two young artists, Lindsay Clark (vocals) and Tommy Royset (guitar/vocals) blend the perfect combination for success across the stages of America. Clark’s proven and award winning voice paired with Royset’s powerful play and back up vocals will take Jacked Up to the top.
Lindsay lends vocals add to the tone and tunes of Jacked Up. A sound of success that has captured award winning recognition in 2006, his love of music and singing span of his entire life. From childhood, he’s shown the talent and ability required of center stage. He’s preformed at many events, including opening ceremonies of sport events, the State Fair and many other public engagements. Some things traverse the realm of hobby; these things are passions and every song he sings rings in his passion. His love of singing brought him to Nashville in late, 2006. He hoped and planned for a solo career singing until meeting Tommy on July 4, 2007 at a music related weekend away in Connecticut. Pure musical magic collided with reality.
“I’m just living my dream right now. I done all the responsible, serious stuff in life – I’ve been married, I’ve had kids – a job – and a career. Now, I have the opportunity in my life to chase my dream. When I was doing the serious stuff, I was playing in bands and doing benefit concerts. I now have the opportunity to really get after it with my music. This has been the most difficult but rewarding time in my life. I have met people in Nashville that have shaped my life and changed it forever. I’m embarking focus on a journey that I have and will live for the rest of my life.†… Lindsay Clark
Music was a big part of Tommy Royset’s life at an early age and has remained at the top of the list across decades. He has been involved in several bands and toured and played across all of Norway. The “TommyRockers†attended the National Finals in Norway’s biggest rock competition. Nashville called Tommy home in March of 2007 where he’s worked on several television, stage and radio projects. He worked for several years as technical manager at large festivals, hosting stars like Don Williams, Marty Stuart and many others. He also earned gold and platinum records for playing guitar on the latest release from “Vassendgutaneâ€.
“In addition to my work with others, I also found some time to work on my own projects. This has given me the privilege to play both with and for a lot of fantastic people. There is nothing I love more than to be on a stage somewhere, and have someone listening to what I’m doing.†… Tommy Royset
