About Me

First off, we'd like to apologize for the less than stellar quality of some of our recordings. We have plans to re-record our songs soon, so we'll post them up whenever we get the time to record.
That said... What do we put here?
A brief history of the band?
A complete biographical summary of the lives of all the members?
A philosophical look into the meaning of the existence of mankind in the universe?
...I guess the history of the band works...
So a long time ago Kevin Doyle didn't play any instruments, Corey had been playing the drums since 96 (or 97) but had played in mostly marching bands/orchestra bands, and Wauligman played the saxophone (later he started playing every instrument under the sun).
Kevin and Corey preferred playing Dungeons and Dragons in their friends' basements to playing music. Then one day they decided to start a rock and roll band (mostly for the ladies). Corey played the drum kit, and Kevin Doyle started to play the guitar, and it was fun. Then they realized they needed bass. So Corey switched to the bass, and they got a friend to drum. Then Doyle left to go play guitar in Kevin Wauligman's band where they both played guitar, and Corey went back to drumming for a punk rock band.
At some point, all three were out of bands, so they got back together for a new band, where the two kevins played guitar and Corey played drums, then later bass, then drums again, before he left again to continue drumming for the punk band.
Eventually Kevin and Kevin formed "Neverender", and Corey quit drumming to become the full time bassist for Neverender, and they added friend Matt Lysaght. It was a wonderful, amazing 1 year run; they all made friends, and even a decent amount of local notariety. It was fun, but eventually the three parted ways with their friend Matt as Neverender broke up**.
Kevin, Kevin, and Corey all prepared to go their separate musical ways. Then one day, Doyle and Wauligman decided to jam together. They wanted someone to play drums for their jam session, so they called up Corey again and asked him to play. Both Wauligman and Doyle played guitar, but eventually Wauligman started jamming on the bass. Soon, the three found themselves writing songs and playing old ones from previous band projects, and eventually decided to become a band. After pitching around some names, the name "The Kevins" (coming from the fact that 2/3 of the band is named Kevin!) was thrown in, and it stuck.
And that's where the story is right now. I guess just stay tuned.
**You can watch Neverender's final show in it's almost entirety (only the last 5 minutes is missing) by clicking on The Kevin's MySpace Videos Section .
