We would like to thanks everyone for voting for Bijoumiyo, supporting The INDY Music Awards 2008 and helping these awards to establish themselves as the largest and most significant awards scheme for emerging independent artists in the UK and beyond.
The response has been tremendous with over 600 venues, festivals and promoters participating by nominating over 700 of the very best artists out of an estimated 120,000 that played on their stages last year.
A special thanks to all the fans that got behind their favourite artists, venues and promoters by voting - it is your support and your votes that have produced our short list of finalists!
The Gala Awards Ceremony will be held at The Forum, Kentish Town, London on Friday 25th April. We will contact all Finalists directly with information about the ceremony and who will be invited to perform. Performances will be made up from nominees, finalists and winners.
