About Me

The Turntable Enabler started his musical career at age five. Since being born in Oregon, he’s had the clashing musical influences from the alternative music explosion of the Northwest to the Hip-Hop streets of the Bay area. His styles include new and old skool Hip-Hop, Reggae, Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, Soul, Funk, House, Drum and Bass and Jazz. Chances are he will play something you don’t want to admit you like, but you really do! This diverse blend of styles and genres is what makes him so unique, thus making him an experienced turntablist with spectacular rhythmic skills bringing a rare musical sensibility to his work. He has toured all over the western states spreading his own style as a DJ for ten years. He has performed and recorded on numerous albums with groups such as Eleven Eyes, Minus, Huzzah, Nautical Sauce Posse, Audial Assassins Oscillate and Admiral Twinkle Devil. The Turntable Enabler appeared to great acclaim at the first ever Portland festival of looping music as well as appearing at such festivals as The Oregon Country Fair, Summer Meltdown in Washington, 2007 Sunsation festival at Copper Mountain in Colorado and was the only DJ ever to grace the stage at the Newport Oregon Jazz Festival for the last 3 years. The Turntable Enabler has shared the stage with and opened for:De La Soul, The John Popper Project featuring DJ Logic, Long Beach Shortbus, 2 Live Crew, The Dead, The Allman Brothers, Future Man from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Saliva, Eligh and Grouch from The Living Legends, The Crown City Rockers, Soundtribe Sector 9, The Motet, The Everyone Orchestra, Skerik’s Syncopated Septet, Flowmotion, The Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Rubberneck, Carlos Washington and the Giant People, Critter’s Buggin’ and K.J.
