About Me

We need to update our personal blurb since we no longer live in beautiful, serene Alvadore. We're in Eugene once again!
My wife and I share our small house in the country with our cat, Elena. We spend much of our time working on the yard and trying to get the house mouse-proof. Still trying to teach Elena how to actually catch the mice rather than playing table tennis with 'em. We've discovered that the country isn't as isolated as you might think and those visiting often find long-lost aquaintances in the neighborhood. Our newest tradition is taking visitors to the "haunted school house" around the corner. Nervous friends are told the legend of the thirteen mummified children found chained in the basement. After offering a change of underwear we'll say "we lied!" You can always find a fresh pot of coffee at our home and when we have our housewarming, our little neighborhood will have the moss knocked off the trees, bringing the music lovers from the lake to our yard to listen to the bands.

Television:

Nothing worth talking about really. What channel is Mister Rogers on again? Maybe Huff on Showtime (but it's been cancelled after one season), M*A*S*H, Cops (cuz we like watching dumb people who don't know how to hide their dope), The Flavor of Love (too hell with Chuck D, Flav is a lot smarter than he looks), That 70's Show (our experience in High School wasn't like that but maybe it should have been), America's Funniest Videos (we can all be idiots if we really don't try), American Idol (Larry chose the last 5 season winners when there were 12 contestants left... We agree with Simon - he really is trying to make stars out of these people - Paula Abdul is a dope smoking, crack-hittin', Pimp stridin' lush), most stuff on the History Channel, Penn and Teller's "Bullsh*t" (cuz they make the average idiot think for themselves, even if only for a second), the Spanish channels (with the volume down... cuz it's damn funny), and... if we are really desperate, and our blood sugar is low, Jerry Springer (cuz people will do anything for a free airplane ride).

Heroes:

Joe Sievers , Kathleen Sievers, Helen Keller, Frank Zappa, Abraham Lincoln, Tina Turner, Mother Teresa, FDR, Ryan White, Christopher Reeves, NYC Firefighters and Port Authority, Barbaro, Eric Clapton, the Inventor of the Mousetrap, Bilbo Baggins, Jello Biafra, Nick Danger, Timothy Leary, Jesus, My Dad, Passengers on Flight 93...
