About Me

New Breed Academy is the brain child of John Ouano and Johnny Ramirez. We are also part of the BJJ Revolution Team formed by Black Belts Rodrigo Medeiros (Carlson), Julio â€œFocaâ€ Fernandez, and John Ouano. The goal of forming the BJJ Revolution Team and New Breed Academy was to develop a nationwide and international elite competition team. New Breed Academy â€“ Chicago offers world class, competition-proven, championship instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. We provide members with top quality training in a fun, ego-free atmosphere, as well as furnish our students with the latest techniques in sport completion, reality martial arts competitions and self-defense application. To do this, New Breed Academy is represented by instructors who have trained extensive in the arts locally and internationally in addition to having extensive competition experience.
