If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Pyotr Chaikovsky.

I AM the Real Chaikovsky! Considered by most Westerners to be the greatest Russian composer of all, most late 19th Century Russians think I'm actually too Westernized in my musical tendencies. Despite this criticism, as well as the flak I had to take for my preference of Y-chromosomes, my ballets "The Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake" are upheld as among the greatest and most popular pieces of all time.

Who would you be? Dead Russian Composer Personality Test

You are 100% Russian!

Great job!!!!! You did WONDERFULY!!!! Nice try!!! Were you born in Russia? How do you know so much about it??? Well, good job anyway!!!
How Russian are you?

In your previous birth you were the Tsar of Russia!
What were you in your previous birth?
My dearest Alix. I fell in love with her when I was 16, she was 12. I'll never forget that night at the ball when I placed that brooch in your hand and you clutched it. You still wear it every anniversary of that night to this day!
My dearest children. From the left, Grand Duchess Tatiana, Grand Duchess Anastasia, Tsarsevich Alexei, Grand Duchess Maria, and Grand Duchess Olga.
You can see where I grew up in this painting by Luigi Premazzi around 1855. In this angle, you can see a view of the Cameron Gallery. Tsarskoye Selo is known as "The Tsar's Village" in Russian. Our family resides here, and one day my children will raise their children as I have in this very place!

It's a painting of me! This was done by a one Earnest Lipgart.
This is the Winter Palace! It was built in the duration of the years 1754 through 1762. This is my residence during the winter months. There are over 1,057 halls and rooms that complete this abode. Some of my favorite rooms, like the 'Military Gallery' are exhibitions in themselves. The gallery opened in 1826 - accomodated 332 royal portraits of the military leaders during the time of my Grandfather. I have even made this room available to the general public for sake of culture, heritage and pride.

My Interests

Likes : Walking everywhere, reading when I get around to it, music, putting on plays and going to see them.

I am very proud of my son.

I am an Imperial Russian Life Guard, and worked my way all the way to Colonel. I also was proud to be involved with the Cossack regiments. Primarily Kuban. I am fiercly proud of my military background, and everyday I still work with weights, train, and excercise to maintain the lifestyle and mannerism.

Photography -- I love cameras so much that I personally invited Dr. H. H. Horne of Lapland to bring his 'X ray apparatus' to the palace and take a picture of Alexandra's and my own hands!

Here you can see my hand -- look! There's my cufflink too! Actually it's a funny story really -- no one realized just how much power this 'X ray apparatus' had -- so much so -- that as the pictures took, it blew out the electricity to the entire palace for a little while... Dr. Horne's wife and I managed to bump into each other! haha... *cough*

Dislikes : Random people or strangers touching me... I absolutely hate it. It gets worse when whole ceremonies involving my blessing of the troops... I have to kiss everyone's cheeks, both sides -- that's hundreds of thousands of damned kisses... you could almost spend a week of recovery for that alone.
This is the flag of my empire.

I love to hunt just about any kind of game... Buck, rabbit, boar... you name it! Why? You ask? It makes me feel.. powerful!

I am a strong believer in the Russian Orthodox church. You can see above what is called an 'Icon', or "windows to heaven" as some people call it. It depicts my favorite Saint, Saint Seraphim of Sarov.
This is the imperial yacht - the Standart around.. 1896 I think.. I love going on cruises with my wife and children! The sea really clears the sinuses!

In general I enjoy regality -- the balls, the parties and the general splendour of it all.. but at the same time -- it's really more of I just like getting dressed up for it, and all the admiration and flattery... otherwise I usually get nervous as hell. I remember my voice cracked on my Inauguration Day speech... and I think I'll try and forget.

This is the Novodevichy Convent. It was founded around 1513 as a fortified monastary, one of a few. This has always primarily been a religious retreat for Russian noblewomen. It is here that my relative, Peter the Great banished his sister, Sophia for attempting to gain power, and later his wife, Evdokia.

I'd like to meet:

I've just about had my fill of anyone I'd like to meet... but I always have an open door policy.

The first stone was laid to the first stone gate Red Square, Moscow in the year 1535. It was more or less constructed of brick. Later, it was elaborated in 1680, a simple double passage was increased with two story chambers with two octagonal hipped roofs -- that looked very much like the Kremlin Towers. It was always a popular custom for all people from all over Russia to come through these gates to the Iberian Chapel that stands next to it. Hence the name 'Iberian Gates'. In the chapel, people pay homage to the shrine. Beggars and outlaws can pray right alongside my family. The Imperial arms crowns the very tops of the gates!

This reminds me of my coronation. It was a very big day for everyone. For Alix and I it seemed like too much to remember, for you see, being that it is a ceremony, there are routinely done things that must be done to the letter. I can't say I don't know what it's like to drop the crown jewels.. I was embarrased when all that heavy, ornate decoration weighed me down - the order around my neck, "The Order of St Andrew, the first called", fell right off in front of everyone.

Music:

I'm a huge lover of Russian ballet! I attended them all the time when I was younger. I even had a minor tryst with a young ballerina in Petersburg in my day... though I'm quite sure she was a tease!

My particularly favorite artist is Richard Wagner.
Both Alexandra and I enjoy his work in 'Tristan and Isolde' the most!

Heroes:

The loves of my life -- my family -- from the left and seated is my oldest daughter Grand Duchess Olga, behind my left side is my third daughter Grand Duchess Marie, myself, on my other side my beautiful wife Empress Alexandra, seated next to me on the right is my little girl Grand Duchess Anastasia, in her arms is my youngest - my heir Grand Duke Alexei, and seated last is my second daughter Grand Duchess Tatiana. How I love them all!!

My family when I was a boy -- You can see from the back, my mother Empress Maria Feodorovna as she holds my little brother Grand Duke Mikhail, myself, my sister Grand Duchess Xenia, and seated -- my father Emperor Alexander III, he holds my little sister Grand Duchess Olga, and on the edge there, you can see my brother Grand Duke George... that shit disturber! haha

It's my cousin King George V and I! No wonder we look so alike, he must of inherited my.. good looks!
