About Me

Im Ian Edwards and this is all about me story. Born in England, moved to Jamaica when I was 9, then moved to NY when I was 17, now I reside in Cali. Some people think Im exotic, but thats puttin too much on it. Ill just settle for sexy. Im not one of those Jamaicans who say theyre from Kingston. Im from Spanish Town. If every Jamaican who said they were from Kingston was from there, when I go back it would be empty. When I was 21 I decided I wanted to do something with my life so I turn from working the drive thru at Burger King to a life of comedy. Needless to say life has been down hill since then. Just kidding. I think Ive laughed more in this life than in my ten previous others. My first set was at a local comedy club on Long Island called Governors. I invited all my friends down and proceeded to bomb. Dont get me wrong I didnt suck, I was just so nervous it seemed like I sucked. As a matter of fact the only joke I said right, killed. I realized, if I could get rid of my nervousness I can be a real funny dude. (Thank God for Cocaine) Since then Ive appeared on Def Comedy Jam twice, Show Time at the Apollo, written on Saturday Day Night Live, Lyricist lounge show on MTV, The Boondocks for the Cartoon Network, etc, plus Im a currently a cast member of the fifth season of Punkd on MTV. I play the white dude. No Im the brother.By now many of you are asking, if hes so successful what is he doing at Myspace? Basically it never hurts to meet new hos, I mean ladies. Have a sense of humor people. This is the free thing for me to do till I get my own web site. Plus I hear you can meet a lot of great new people from all over the world. And from the looks of my boy Sydney Castillos friend list you can also meet a lot of strippers. Ive been a fan of naked spiritual dancers for a long time. So holla people. Im at Myspace to stay. Ill let u know when Im performing and doing my thing and you let me know when youre doing yours. Not that Im gonna support any of that bullshit. My Interests

My interest are music, soccer the real football, the fake football, basketball, pro blackness, good white people, or any kind race, anything to do with fun, sexual freaks who are interested in me, let me prefix, female. Sorry guys, you know who the hell I’m talking about. I like sight seeing or visiting countries that are terrorist free, shopping, bargain hunting, making fun of people who can hear me talking about them, etc. etc. you have to figure out what that etc is.

I'd like to meet:

Id like to meet people from all walks of life and have them introduce them selves to me. Life is not only what you know, but who you know when youre pulled over with a dead hooker and in your trunk and, two keys of coke stuffed in your engine block. My grandmother told me that. So Im basically Im open. I like interesting people and I aint gonna front, beautiful women. Im using this site to make friends and develop a following, something I kind of ignored when I entered the entertainment game. I think Im on the path to success and I want to invite a few hundred thousand people with me. Im my own PR right now, so this better work.

Music:

I’m big into, Reggae, hip-hop, R&B, very little jazz. I also like calypso but definitely not for the sound, but for the way it makes the ladies move. And if you’ve ever been to Central Park or Venice beach and seen the passionate way white woman react to homeless men banging on percussion instruments you’d love drum circles too.

Movies:

Scary Movie, Malcom X, Something about Mary, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, Crash, Eddie Murphy movies except the ones he makes for his kids, and Do the Right Thing. There are more but I can't think of them with this Asian girl sitting on my lap. Oh yeah Punk'd. I know it's not a movie.

Television:

DAVE CHAPELLE SHOW, Seinfeld, Larry David Show, Entourage, The Jeffersons, Punk’d, and not just because they put me down. Okay because they put me down. And use to love Sex in The City.

Books:

Kaffir Boy: The True Story Of A Black Youths Coming Of Age In Apartheid South Africa by Mark Mathabane. And Punk'd. lol. Are you allowed to lol on this thing?

Heroes:

Nelson Mandela, Malcolm X, President Kennedy, Martin Luther da King, any handicap or physically disadvantage person who lives their life to the fullest without excuses, even if it’s just a pimple. I admire my Moms and Pops who came to this country without anything. Well I can’t say anything they did have four kids to feed. But they made it happen. I have more but for some strange reason or another most of them have been shot.
