Iva La'Shawn

Iva La'shawn was born in Springfield Ohio. From a young age Iva knew she wanted to be a star. Since her father was a pastor, she performed often for the church audience. When she entered high school she joined the drama club, and had leading roles in every play. Though acting was her dream Iva majored in Pre-Dentistry at the Ohio State University. She was extremely discontent with this decision so she put her faith on the line and moved to California.
She has now become one of the hottest new female talents to hit Hollywood. Landing her first lead movie role, in which she plays in the independent film "Up Against The 8 Ball". This is only a springboard of many successes to come. Iva's lists of credits include touring and co-starring as Tina with Billy Dee Williams (Lady Sings The Blues & Mahogany) & Darius McCary (Family Matters) in the stage play "The Maintenance Man". Also, her stellar performance as Diane in the movie "The Wash" has Hollywood discussing her star potential. Having had several sitcom and small movie appearances Iva is on a non-stop mission to conquer Hollywood. She has wit, humor, and a real affinity for portraying characters. She's smart, sexy, exhilarating, cynical, and at times she's painfully funny and very believable.
