Linda Freeland hails out of Jamaica Queens New York. Born into a musical family she started singing in the gospel choir of her church in Queens.
In that legendary part of NYC -with a musical range from gospel to hip hop- she performed as a soloist from the days of childhood. R&B and Soul became her passion - she formed her first band as a teenager. Highly motivated specially by the hits 'Respect' und 'I thank you' of her cousin ADEVA she started working as a producing artist.
An uncomparable voice - a fascinating woman; working with the US-artists KC & JoJo, Joey McIntyre from the former New Kids on the block, The Harlem Gospel Singers, Harold Todd from Lenny Kravitz band and in Europe with: Down Low, Rappers against Racism (Top 20 Hit Germany), C-Block, No Angels and many more.
Today : living and working in Germany. Chart entries in Europe: Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland.
Linda Freeland stammt aus Jamaica Queens, New York. Als Tochter einer Musikerfamilie afroamerikanischer Tradition macht sie ihre ersten musikalischen Schritte als Kind im Gospelchor ihrer Gemeinde in Queens.
