This is who I am, a success story.EV TV & Film recently had the honor of spending time with recording sensation "Omen" on the film set of their network TV hit, "Who's Next Door. Omen took time to play seven tracks from his hit CD, "After the Pain", for the gathering of journalists. While the assembled crowd boogied, Omen and Manager and CEO of R.O.I. Records Derek Hunley introduced, and talked about the tracks one-by-one. As the actors and actresses danced, it became obvious that not only were the beats mind-boggling, but the lyrical content of Omens music was a tour-de-force. Clearly, this is a star on the rise. The CD has gained quick acceptance in the Phoenix, and West coast market, where one cannot enter a hot spot in the area without hearing Omens trademark vocals as the dance floor heats up.Currently, O.W. is making attention grabbing noise in not only the West Coast music scene, but also the Midwest, and East Coast markets. With 17 kids and their Mother all living in the same housing projects, there was plenty to do. Omen immediately fell in love with the world of soul. Listening to the amazing sounds of Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and Smokey Robinson got Omen hooked on wanting to become a music performer. Area talent shows became the stage where O.W. shined. He was a natural. Picking up further style, and sound from legends like, Michael Jackson, RUN-DMC, and RAKIM; Omen had a solid platform on which to build his own inimitable musical tomes.Deciding her son had the talent to build a better life for her family; Wolfie's mother soon joined the Omen traveling band. This allowed O.W. to travel with his inner circle, and see the world. By.. the age of 16, Wolfie settled in CA, and began to get serious inquiries about his musical talents. At the young age of 17, Omen signed his first contract with Looney Bin records, located in the music Mecca of Southern CA. As management sought to gain more and more control over the artist, Wolfie decided it was best to take his creative spark to the boom town of Phoenix, Arizona.While living with his brother in Arizona, O.W. has pioneered the rap group MAD LAD, consisting of himself and label mate RISE 1. His brother Tio has also recently joined the group. Along with his skills, Tio also brought along with him the media exposure needed to finance the groups first venture; the mega-hit, After the Pain". The project was independently released on the AZ. underground scene. Of major significance, the release was rated ..1 consignment ever by SAM GOODY & MUSIC LAND reps throughout southern AZ. The success of this album was the birth R.O.I. INC.As a company R.O.I. INC. has released 4 successful albums with an accumulative total of album sales reaching the 200,000 mark.
