„Wilton“ – The American westcoast-style noble-romantic solo-artist, who never wanted to be a popstar –because he was talented. His music is like the ultimate chapter in the musical kamasutra: there’s a lot of love in it. Wilton was born in Bayreuth, Germany on August 3rd, grew up in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and later Boston. In 1977 he moved to Munich, Germany.
His mother was English/German and his father was Italian. Wilton started off his career in 1988 with his first vinyl “Don’tâ€. From 1989 on he released several singles on BMG, such as “For Whatever You Want†and “Little Girlâ€, which were big airplay hits. “For Whatever You Want†went straight to number 1 for 6 weeks in Russia. His first solo album was released in 1995 headed off by the hit-single “Until The End of Time†(The Wedding Song), which he sang with Anita Davis.
After the solo-album debut, he underwent several style-changes in order to try to fit the new music scene, not quite wanting to fit himself into certain formats, he never really liked. After writing several screenplays , a novel and some non-fictional paperbacks, after completing his medical studies, he began orchestrating Hollywood-like layouts for his own filmscores (working closely with orchestrator Tilo Heinrich from Heiko Musik in Munich) and later found the time to get back to where he started off: pop/rock which comes straight from the heart. Today he has put all of his emotions and experiences into the new songs and has been able to be better than ever. And it all just keeps getting better and better all the time.
