Moniack

Moniack Mk I began way back in 95, releasing GRAND MAL 1 EP (Bronx Cheer Records) and playing at the legendary "European City Of Punk" festivals here in the fair city of Edinburgh. The band subsequently gathered a reputation for intense, powerful live shows and an uncompromising musical style which was developed on GRAND MAL 2 EP (also on Bronx Cheer). There followed a long hiatus during which members either bred or pursued other musical projects Of course the dream wouldn't die. Moniack has become a kind of cult legend of Scottish underground Rock music, and will probably live on forever in some form or another. The lineup has changed and expanded to include more use of vintage analogue synths, vocal harmonies and several guitars, resulting in a more progressive, yet still minimalist style. An album is being made at our studio, Arcadia, but don't rush to the shops just yet, we are taking a l o n g t i m e. It'll be worth it, 'ackfans. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
