Music, technology, amateur psychoanalysis, the connection between "crazy" and "genius", beautiful intense kisses, lust, people with graceful hands (especially while they are smoking and talking), jokes that some might call "cheezy" (especially when they get on stupid people's nerves), good food, my alcoholic superpowers (which include surviving long plane rides and karate), hours and hours of video games, ingesting tapeworms in the interest of weight loss, sticking my foot in my mouth (and claiming it tastes like chicken), pushing the envelope, trying to find out exactly how many licks it takes to get to the center of just about anything.
Things I am not into: blind faith, bullshit, games, people who don't know me but think they can touch me, unrequited love, pointless angst, pretty boys/girls that can't hold a decent conversation (what a waste of plumage!), assumptions.
I'd like to meet:
This man has my heart and soul, 100%.
Intensity...depth...courage...loyalty...passion...high standards...patience...care with a lack of ulterior motives...intelligence...you know, all that common stuff...haha. If you don't have a sense of humor, don't bother...I will only drive you nuts (argh! it's driving me nuts!). This goes for anybody that wants to be anywhere near me on a regular basis.
People who can catch me off guard, preferably in a good way. People who can truly look me in the eye. People who are deeply intense but still familiar with logic and reason (and I don't mean the audio software, although that's good too). Those who go for what they want, stand up for what they love, and indulge themselves in their passion.
People who are not full of shit. I am all about confidence...confidence is sexy. But if you tell me you are the best thing since sliced bread, baby, you better deliver, and with a side of curly fries. :)
MMMM....curly fries. I want to meet people who feed me.
Jimmy Pop because he is a lyrical genius. Michael Stipe because he is my hero of verbosity. Kevin Moore so I can write an album with him and apologize for all those years as a teenager that I told people I was going to bear his love-children someday. I would like to co-write a song and indulge in some mind-altering substances with Matthew Bellamy. John Nash because he sees the patterns too...albeit before and better than I. Peter Gabriel because he is one of my hugest influences.

Severance - gotta look out for #1!
You WILL listen to my playlist, and you will like it!:
Movies:
Frida, Dark City, Event Horizon, Mists of Avalon, X, The Hours, Immortal Beloved, Fight Club, The Matrix (the first one - not too thrilled with the others), A Beautiful Mind, Pi, Elizabeth, Neverending Story, The Labyrinth, House of Sand and Fog, Spaceballs, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Doors, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, that movie your mom made with Ron Jeremy...
Television:
Dave Chappelle (why learn how to be witty when you can just quote "Chappelle's Show"?), Court TV (I now know how to get away with it, so don't fuck with me), History channel (especially on Sunday when they discuss sex and pick apart the Bible), The Daily Show, The Henry Rollins Show.
Books:
"Touched With Fire: Manic Depressive Illness and the Artistic Temperament", "Insomnia", "Red Dragon", "1984", "Phantom", anything Stephen King, my book of staff paper, and my all time fave, "The Time Traveller's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. I cried at the end of that book. Shhh...don't tell anyone.
Heroes:
I don't like the implications of the word "hero". Everyone that's ever done anything you admire or aspire to do started out a naked, screaming baby just like you did.
I think that everyone should be their own example...if you are not living the life you want...change that. Trust your lust. OK - now somebody help me off this soap box. ;)
