About Me

My name is Kurt, I am in my eighties, and as much in love with life as I was in my twenties. I am an author, of subversive political and social satire, hidden behind the disguise of science fiction. I would like to set the record straight, I am credited for a commencement speech at MIT, the speech is entitled Sunscreen. I did not write that speech, or give that speech. That was a hoax, and a succesful one at that. It was succesful because of it's circulation on the internet. I Survived the fire bombings of Dresden, Germany. The aftermath of that attack forever changed my outlook on life. For those of you familiar with my work, you are probably under the impression that I hate technology. Well that is partially accurate. I am against automating every little thing, and replacing human's, entirely. Last week, on a routine trans-continental flight, my plane entered a chronosynclastic infindibulum, and since then nothing has been the same. I was raised the son of an Indiana architect, and now reside in my New York City apartment. I attended Cornell. I have been married to several beautiful women, all writer's have beautiful wives. I have several children, some adopted, my sister died, and they were orphaned. My daughter, Edie, was married to Geraldo Rivera for a short time. She is now an artist like her daddy.

My Interests

I love college basketball, music, comedy, plays, cinema, television, a fine book, a bottle of booze, and hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Pall Mall cigarettes.

I'd like to meet:

All of you unwavering beams of light out there.

Music:

Jazz baby, jazz. I mean the real stuff, none of that Rock n' Roll rubbish.

Movies:

Breakfast of Champions, Mother Night, oh you mean movies I like viewing, those were movies based on my novels. I appeared in the Rodney Dangerfield movie, Back To School, it was just a cameo. I love all movies, particularly comedies.

Television:

For some strange reason, I can't get enough reality television. It is hardly realistic, but quite entertaining.

Books:

Slapstick, Hocus Pocus, Mother Night, The Siren's of Titan, Slaughterhouse Five, Blue Beard, Welcome to the Monkey House, Bagombo Snuff Box, Cat's Cradle, Galapagos, These are just some of my works.

Heroes:

All of my fans, the unwavering beams of light in a dark world.
