I am of Croatian descent, born and raised in Nebraska. From a very young age, music was in my blood. From singing Croatian songs, and being in my parochial elementary school choir, singing the Latin Mass.
I started my career with a rock/soul band, and at age 19, I joined a road band and traveled the U.S. We were a versatile trio, playing folk, country, and rock. We also recorded in Nashville with D.J.Fontana, and appeared on various television and radio shows.
After 3 years, I joined an 8 piece rock band with brass. After a total of 6 years on the road, break time, then to a pop/jazz band.
From there, I moved to San Francisco for some months, then moved to Los Angeles to concentrate on recording. I worked for a studio in Hollywood, and mostly sang lead vocals for songwriters demo tapes. While in Santa Monica, I attended the Smaltzoff Russian Ballet Dance Studio, and also worked for the U.S. Hang Gliding Association Magazine. I was also a "extra" in a movie and TV series. I had a great time in L.A.!!! I look towards a bright future.
