..."The original American patriots were those individuals brave enough to resist with force the oppressive power of King George. I accept the definition of patriotism as that effort to resist oppressive power...Who are the true patriots, those who conform or those who protest wars without purpose? How can it be said that blind support for a war, no matter how misdirected the policy, is the duty of a patriot?"... - Ron Paul
"I am absolutely convinced that the best formula for giving us peace and preserving the American way of life is freedom, limited government, and minding our own business overseas." - Ron Paul
"A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank." - Ron Paul
"Deficits mean future tax increases, pure and simple. Deficit spending should be viewed as a tax on future generations, and politicians who create deficits should be exposed as tax hikers." - Ron Paul
"Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms." - Ron Paul
"It is not we non-interventionists who are isolationists. The real isolationists are those who impose sanctions and embargos on countries and peoples across the globe and who choose to use force oversees to promote democracy... A counterproductive approach that actually leads the US to be more resented and more isolated in the world." - Ron Paul

If you are reading this right now I ask only one thing of you: to help restore our Constitutional Republic! We have long ago replaced "liberty" with "democracy" (something our founding fathers warned us about). Individual rights are being trampled while special interests rule the day. This is not new; It's been going on for some time now. As individual rights are slowly being eroded people bicker over things that are of little or no concern. The system has become corrupted yet people are so accustomed to it they barely even notice. The media - which was initially suppose to act as part of the checks and balance system - is owned by the corporations. It is no wonder why certain politicians are favored by certain news outlets. Our foreign policy and our monetary system run so contrary to our Constitution - the founding fathers must be rolling in there graves! And it's unfortunate that our entire election "season" has been reduced to "party politics". People need to forget about parties! They are practically irrelevant today (Even though there was some importance intially). Forget about what the media says; Forget about what your friends think; Forget about the little issue - Vote with your heart! Vote for someone who will restore this great nation of ours. Do your part - help spread the word!
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing". - Edmund Burke

"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards."- Samuel Adams
"Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth."- George Washington
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."- Abraham Lincoln
"We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home."- Thomas Jefferson
"The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home."- James Madison
"Of all enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debt and taxes. And armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended. Its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds are added to those of subduing the force of the people...No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare."- James Madison
"The principles of a free constituion are irrevocably lost when the legislative power is dominated by the executive."- Edward Gibbon
"There is no way in which a country can satisfy the craving for absolute security, but it can bankrupt itself morally and ecomonically in attempting to reach that illusory goal through arms alone."- Dwight Eisenhower
"I hope our wisdom will grow with our power, and teach us that the less we use our power the greater it will be."- Thomas Jefferson
"There are only two things for which Americans should be permitted to fight...Defense of home and the Bill of Rights. Not a single drop of American blood should ever again be spilled on foreign soil. Let's build up a national defense so tight that even a rat couldn't crawl through!"- General Smedley D Butler
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."- Benjamin Franklin
"Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be. But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own."- John Adams
"It is our true policy to steer clear of entangling alliances with any portion of the foreign world."- George Washington
"The money power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a crisis that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country...Corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow; and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed."- Abraham Lincoln
"The Bank of the United States has set itself up as a great irresponsible rival power of the government."- James K Polk
(The Bank of the United States would ultimately be succeeded - over 70 years later - by the Federal Reserve System.)
"The dominion which the banking institutions have obtained over the minds of our citizens ... must be broken, or it will break us." - Thomas Jefferson
(in a letter to James Monroe)
- James Garfield
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation, and then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their father's conquered ... I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberty than standing armies ... The issuing power should be taken from banks and restored to the Government, to whom it properly belongs." - Thomas Jefferson
(in a letter to John Taylor)
(In 1913, the Federal Reserve Act was signed into law, transfering monetary control from the Congress to a private banking monopoly.)
"To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. If we run into such debts, we (will then) be taxed in our meat and our drink, in our necessities and in our comforts, and in our labor and in our amusements. If we can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people under the pretense of caring for them, they (will) be happy." - Thomas Jefferson
"Lenin is to have declared that the best way to destroy the capitalist system was to debauch the currency ...By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens ...As the inflation proceeds and the real value of the currecny flucuates widly from month to month, all permanent relations between debtors and creditors, which form the ultimate foundation of capitalism, become so utterly disordered as to be almost meaningless..."- John Maynard Keynes
"The sack of the United States by the Fed is the greatest crime in history. Every effort has been made by the Fed to conceal its power, but the truth is the Fed has usurped the government." - Charles McFadden,
Chairman, House Banking and Currency Committee, 1932
- Stanley Sporkin
"If monopoly persists, monopoly will always sit at the helm of government. I do not expect monopoly to restrain itself. If there are men in this country big enough to own the government of the United States, that are going to own it."
- Woodrow Wilson
"The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson..."
- Franklin D. Roosevelt
"The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes."
- Justice Felix Frankfurter
- Sir William Pit
"Was there ever domination that did not appear natural to those who possess it?"
- John S. Mill
"Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth." - Albert Einstein
-----------------------------------------------
"A Nation's moral life is the foundation of its culture."- Robert Bork
"The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity."
- John Adams
"The thing that separates the American Christian from every other person on earth is the fact that he would rather die on his feet, than live on his knees."
- George Washington
"Men must be governed by God or they will be ruled by tyrants."
- William Penn
"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
- II Corinthians 3:17

THE GREATEST SCIENTIFIC QUOTE OF ALL TIME:
"It appears now that science will never be able to open the curtain on the mystery of creation. For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."
- Robert Jastrow, astronomer and agnostic
