Leah Kauffman - "Perfected"
Mystics throughout history; Environmentalists and sustainability advocates; People who will stand up for social justice, even risking imprisonment or death (e.g. Alice Paul, a scholar and Quaker activist for women's suffrage who defied convention and Pres. Woodrow Wilson, and went to jail and then on hunger strike where she was force fed to keep her from dying, thus causing bad press). Ironically, if not for Alice, and others like her, Ann Coulter might not have her status and rights today. Ann would call Alice a "traitor" - in her book by the same name today, because the latter openly defied a president. God forbid anyone should call our top two executive branch, corporate shills "King George and his evil Dick." I also like Jesuit Priest Berrigan brothers, Fathers Phillip and Daniel, who have been jailed on many occasions for standing up for social justice.

Margaret's Great Nephew, R. Buckminster Fuller - writer, scientist, inventor, architect, professor, poet, alternate energy and sustainability engineer and visionary, the "last transcendentalist"
architect of the geodesic dome
