I like rockabilly, blues, western swing, old time and roots music,Eastern European folk, anything that's different.I try to play upright bass, electric bass,guitar, pedal steel guitar, harmonica,and accordion. I have no shame. My band, The Dandelion Greens is an all originals acoustic Americana group.After playing guitar and bass in numerous bands in Washington, Oregon, and Montana including The Hot Roddin' Romeos, The Tone Dogs, Two Ton Comet, Joe Majority and The Big Heads,and Blues Co-Op over nearly 25 years, I decided to switch to upright bass and I am having more fun than I have ever had playing an instrument. I am currently learning to play my all time favorite instrument, The Accordion. It's proving to be the most difficult instrument to master. I also like to fish and camp being a Montana native. Butte rules!hehe. I am also a huge hockey fan. GO CANUCKS! I have been happily married to my beautiful wife for 24 years and have three big boys and my Golden Retriever "Stanley". My wife and I craft woven goods, baskets, chair caning, wind chimes and fused glass designs under the name "HelenaHandbag.com" in our studio on the shores of beautiful Lake Bagocats, Whidbey Island, WA.
