"You are a much wiser and braver Jedi than I" - Qui Gon Jinn

About Me

I don't think in 1977 anyone could have possibly understood the profound impact Star Wars would have on human culture. Not even George Lucas. Honestly, it still seems difficult for me to believe...much less try to explain to others. I think in most cases, you either get it or you don't.
I was still 7 years old when I first saw Star Wars: A New Hope. It's honestly the first movie I distinctly remember seeing at a theater (although I'm sure there were others). It was also the same day I recall ever seeing snow. I remember this odd thing because driving home from the theater that evening the snow moving at the car looked just like traveling through Hyperspace. Memories such as this have been with me through my entire life. Most of my childhood memories involve my friends and I playing with the awesome action figures. Nothing else was like it at the time, and many of these figures I still own today.
The SW universe took a break for several years between 1983 and 1995. When the Special Edition was announced, there seemed to be a wonderful revival of that amazing Star Wars spirit I remembered from my childhood. It was during this period that I met some of my very best friends. We seem to share a common bond because of this thing called Star Wars. Remeber...surrounds us...penetrates us...binds the Galaxy together...
PRESENT DAY: While I wasn't able to make my dreams of employment with NASA come true, I do work in the wonderful world of technology. And I certainly believe those in my lifetime will be able to travel to the stars. Over the past year I have come to know many new friends who enjoy the myth and legend that is the Star Wars universe. We experience so much fun and fulfillment bringing this amazing world to life for others through the events we attend in-costume. There's really not much like the amazement in a child's eyes when they see a Jedi, Stormtrooper, or Darth Vader in seemingly real-life. It's just another way to continue to bring the joy of Star Wars to a new generation!
Well, I suppose I've ranted about me long enough. I hope you enjoy this site. It's my first attempt at anything like a blog or journal, so I don't know how well I'll do at keeping it updated. I know, I know..."Do, or do not. There is no try"...

May the Force be with you...Always...

My Interests

I enjoy anything to do with technology, as I'm in that career field. But passions lie with Home Theatre design/implementation, am just now getting started with costuming (Star Wars), but TOTALLY fun to do and enjoy meeting so many wonderful people.

I'm also nuts about Halloween! Every year starting at the end of September / beginning of October we begin the ritual of setting-up our yard haunt. You can see more info in my Pics section.Of course, spending time with my wife and kids is at the top of this list. We like to go to movies, camping, canoeing, play paintball. The kids are learning to drive, so my interest right now is keeping them safe ;-)

I'd like to meet:

Almost everyone. I love meeting new people and learning from them. I talk A LOT, too, so hopefully if I ever meet any of you please don't hold that against me!

What Colored Lightsaber Would You Have?
Your Lightsaber is Blue. Blue is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, and truth.
