About Me
Well, I'm currently 27 years old, living in Tulsa, OK, with my wonderful wife, Kenzi, and 2 crazy cats, Ash & Brak. I work at a store called Vintage Stock . I'm originally from California, and I moved to Oklahoma in 1999 after meeting Kenzi online in a Star Wars chatroom. Seriously. We've been happily married for 6 years now.
My Interests
I have a wide range of geek-type interests. I am into comics, like Superman, Ultimates, Powers, and many more. I like to read, especially Sci-fi & fantasy. I love Star Wars, computers, video games, and action figures. As a child of the 80s, I love all the crappy 80s TV shows & cartoons, like Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man, Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team, Knight Rider, etc. Musically, I'm a huge fan of "Weird Al" Yankovic. I like almost any genre of music, except for the majority of both country & rap. I especially like Funk/Soul/Motown and all ages of Rock.
Comic Books
At my job, I am the head of the comics department, so I do the ordering and stocking for all the comic books in my store. I really enjoy it, because I love comics. My favorite is the Superman family of books, especially All-Star Superman, from Grant Morrison & Frank Quitely. I also enjoy the Ultimate line from Marvel, the best of which (and the most infrequent) is the Ultimates, by Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch. From publishers other than the big 2, I really like Walking Dead, Powers, Invincible, Rising Stars, and the Star Wars comics from Dark Horse. They just started a book called Star Wars: Legacy which takes place 100+ years after everything else, and it's been really interesting so far. I'm also hyped about the new Lone Ranger comic by Dynamite Entertainment. Of course, there are plenty more comics I read that I didn't mention.
Video Games
I love playing video games, so I currently own an XBox 360, an XBox, a Gamecube, a Playstation2, an Atari Jaguar, a classic NES, a Gameboy Advance SP, and a PSP. I plan to get a DS Lite and a Wii in the near future. I like all kinds of games, although most RPGs don't really interest me. I do like the Kingdom Hearts games and Knights of the Old Republic, though. Lately I've enjoyed Dead Rising, Texas Hold'em, Lego Star Wars 2, and Madden '07. Looking forward to Guitar Hero 2, and Superman Returns: The Video Game.
