I believe that life is art and art is life. For many years, an appreciation for art and culture lay dormant within me. About five years ago this all changed. People in general interest me a great deal. I am a longtime observor of the many colorful characters I've encountered upon the landscape of life. Jesus, the Dalai Lama, Gandhi, and my Papaw are just a few of my heroes. I also have great respect for many everyday people who make the world a better place with nothing more than a kind word or a smile. I greatly admire many visual artists including Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Jackson Pollock, Hedda Sterne, Robert Rauschenberg, Lee Krasner, Vassily Kandinsky, Hans Hoffman, Franz Kline, Jean Michel Basquiat, Willem de Kooning, Dennis Hopper, Leonardo da Vinci, Joan Miro, and anyone else out there with a creative vision that comes from deep within... you included!
