About Me

I am an environmental activist, I am the publisher of the infamous, "Green Nuclear Butterfly".The youngsters in the GREEN Movement are being sold a bill of goods by the nuclear industry. Sure, a whole new fleet of nuclear reactors seems like the easy, quick and even painless cure for Global Warming...it is not. If you do your research, if you study the safety and security issues surrounding America's aging fleet of 104 reactors, many of which are leaking tritium and strontium 90 into lakes, rivers, the oceans, and our ground water, you would know that a Nuclear Renaissance is a road leading to hell. It is no longer a question of if, but when we have a Chernobyl like event here in America.Wearing the latest GREEN fashion that was recommended by Summer Rayne, or buying a hemp tote from some supposed earth friendly web site like the ETS Energy Store, or drinking green martini's at Green Drinks does not make you an environmental activist. Being green is not supposed to be about or be a social club.We need people willing to take direct action to stop the senseless raping of our planet, we need people to realize part of the cure is conservation of resources, and learning to live with less. We cannot reverse Global Warming with an economy based on massive consumption of material goods and services.

My Interests

Good wine (reds-merlots), great food that is well prepared, music (classic rock), photography, and camping with friends.

I'd like to meet:

People who have a clue, people willing to get involved in stopping the wrongful license renewal of Indian Point's two nuclear reactors that threaten the health and safety of 21 million people living in and around the New York City metro area.I'd like to meet Al Gore, and tell him I think his life style contradicts and dirties the integrity of his message in, "An Inconvenient Truth".I'd like to meet Hilliary Clinton, and ask her how she can take money from Entergy's (which owns Indian Point)PAC, while claiming she wants the plant investigated. My follow up question would be to ask her about her endorsement of nuclear as and option in a stump speech down in South Carolina. Don't be a forked tongue snake speaking out of both sides of your mouth, delivering one message to your constituents here in New York, and contradicting it outside of the state.
