It all started with Kiss for me...my grade one teacher even bought me a Kiss poster for my birthday!!!she still gave me a lousy report card but who could blame her! never listened to any music besides kiss till about grade 6 or 7 when I discovered Zeppelin, Ozzy, AC/DC...then it was ON! I don't just like metal, I like love and rockets, reverend horton heat, kings of leon, fu manchu, iron maiden, judas priest,motley crue,slayer,priestess, . ...ah, I could go on forever...f*..k it...I like music damn it.If it's good, I'm open to it.
Spinal Tap, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Dead Poet Society...anything with Pacino, Sean Penn or Johnny Depp. don't watch too many movies to be honest.They don't have guitar solo's!
Honeymooners(Gleason was the KING!) and anything with drag racing or hot rods....canuck games too.
I read all the Vampire Chronicles at one time...besides that, lots of biography type books on musicians....the Danchuck catalogue.
