Salim Beltitane is a French musician Algerian of origin, born in 1975 in a family of music lovers and musicians. Influenced by the musical inheritance of the family, Salim starts the study of the derbouka and percussions while he is at the secondary school. His career of professional musician takes off in 2000s when he meets the percussionist virtuoso Aziz Boulaaroug with whom he collaborates in numerous plans. At the same time, Salim collaborates with the choreographer of Ivory Coast Joseph Aka and then artistic experiments chain themselves.
